Pandemic
During the height of COVID, I, like many others, felt that my daily routine had been thrown off of the tracks. While trying to adapt, I found myself itching to broaden my education and career, and had more time to explore different ways of truly refining my chosen career path.

When I first entered the program, the Houdini application was the very first thing that I was introduced to in Mr. Ken's class. Though the learning process was challenging, it was equally intriguing. I couldn't wait to explore all of the new avenues that the program had to offer and apply them to my modeling and film skillset.

The Oasis Project
Dystopian Game Development: Utilizing Unreal Engine for the Very First Time
For this project, a team of 7 people came together to put to test our project management skills and brainstorm a variety of video game ideas. The result was the creation of a game titled "Oasis" that we developed from scratch.

A lengthy and complicated process as there were a lot of errors with uv texturing and UDIM.

Even with the implementation of prior experience with UI/UX for mobile devices, there was a huge learning curve. The Oasis Project was vital to my establishing a foundation of learning and research in UI/UX concepts.

COVID and CAREER CHOICES
Determined to improve my abilities, I kept myself busy during the pandemic by refining and picking up a lot of useful skills and tools. Because of DMAE, I was able to secure a job: a position working under the Louisiana Commission for the Deaf (LCD). I gained the rewarding opportunity of being able to share my skillset with my teammates. For LCD, I was able to operate at small scale team and accomplish:
